01 / MATCH POLICY

Games

All 21 game rules from the ADC league policy.

  1. All games are played on US East servers unless both captains agree to use another server.
  2. All games are played in Captain’s Mode.
  3. A lobby must be hosted by an ADC administrator or one of the captains playing in the series.
  4. Late penalties: 5 minutes late — Level 1 draft penalty; 10 minutes — Level 2 draft penalty; 15 minutes — Level 3 draft penalty; 20 minutes — Game 1 forfeit; 30 minutes — Game 2 forfeit.
  5. If 30 minutes pass and neither team is able to play, the series is declared a double forfeit.
  6. To claim a forfeit, a team must have all five players in the lobby. Its captain must send an administrator a screenshot showing the current time is past the applicable late limit.
  7. Each team has a maximum of 15 minutes of pause time per game. Tactical pauses are not allowed.
  8. If a disconnected player cannot return within 15 minutes, the match must continue as 4v5. The team playing with four may choose to forfeit instead.
  9. A series may start late or be rescheduled to another day if both captains agree and an administrator approves the arrangement.
  10. All chat is allowed during official matches. Repeated toxicity or flaming will result in punishment from an administrator.
  11. Tipping, chat wheel messages, and taunts are allowed as part of the game.
  12. Casters may not use all chat at any time.
  13. Captains flip a coin for the choice of side or pick: the winner chooses for Game 1, the loser chooses for Game 2, and a new coin flip determines the choice for Game 3 if needed.
  14. Stream cheating is prohibited in any form, including through Twitch streams or in-game spectating.
  15. Only the five participating players are allowed in a team’s Discord voice channel during games.
  16. A person may spectate in the game lobby only if both captains approve. If either captain objects, that person must leave the lobby without exception.
  17. Remakes are allowed if both captains agree because of packet loss, ping issues, or Steam outages.
  18. Scripts and macros are strictly prohibited in official matches.
  19. If a player selects the wrong hero during the pick phase, teams may remake so the correct heroes can be chosen, but only within the first 20 seconds of a series.
  20. If a captain or drafter disconnects during the draft phase, the team may pause. This pause counts toward its 15-minute allowance.
  21. Exploiting game-breaking bugs results in a forfeit loss.

02 / BROADCAST POLICY

Casters

  1. Casters may join the lobby if both captains agree. A minimum five-minute broadcast delay is required, regardless of platform.
  2. All playoff series will be cast. An administrator will arrange casters on a first-come, first-served basis; casters may volunteer or, if needed, be compensated.

03 / FOUR-WEEK SEASON

Regular season format

Captain’s Mode Bo3 series, with one league-wide standings table.

  1. The regular season is four weeks long, with a Captain’s Mode best-of-three (Bo3) series scheduled each week. Matches default to the official league day and time, but may be rescheduled if both captains agree. Rescheduled series must be played at least three days before the next week’s official match day and time.
  2. All teams compete in one large, league-wide group and are scheduled for four different series. After the regular season, the league advances to playoffs. The number of playoff teams is determined by the total number of teams signed up for that season.
  3. New matchups will be posted weekly in the league Discord and must be checked by captains.

04 / CHAMPIONSHIP

Playoffs

  1. The playoff bracket is single elimination.
  2. Playoff reschedules require administrator approval because all playoff series are cast; casters must be notified. If an alternative date cannot be agreed upon, the series is played at the league’s default day and time.
  3. Every playoff series is best-of-three (Bo3).
